The European Business Association noted the work of gas distribution companies operating under the RGC brand with a star award – Bravery Star!
The Association thanked the gas workers for their work at this challenging time and their incredible courage and loyalty to the Ukrainian economy.
During the war, the first biomethane plant in Ukraine was connected to gas distribution networks, the second ultra-modern RGC Metrological Center in Ivano-Frankivsk was launched, and gas supply was restored in the de-occupied territories of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions in record time.
Gas workers returned gas supply to more than 560 thousand households, and more than 2000 gas regulating units were restored.
“You are the true heroes of the economic front! And we, as an Association, are sincerely proud to have such companies in the ranks of our strong and unbreakable community!” the Association said in a statement.
The EBA hopes that the commitment of gas companies will inspire global leaders to stimulate economic growth and contribute to creating a sustainable and prosperous business environment in our country.
