“Decarbonization and development of clean types of energy are the main energy trends. Therefore, RGC in cooperation with the leading energy companies has been exploring the possibilities of hydrogen and other green synthetic gases. Characteristics of the energy transition are specific to each particular region, but the underlying history is the same: it is about the production and transportation of new types of energy to the customers. This is where the new technologies come into play, and we are the part of this trend,” said Oleg Nikonorov, CEO, RGC.

BUREAU VERITAS oversaw the successful tests of innovative equipment by RGC Production back in October 2021. The design and production of this equipment were made possible following a series of Clean Energy projects developed by RGC experts. These include the RGC hydrogen project that has been taking place at five special test sites in different parts of Ukraine. RGC shares the results of hydrogen tests and experiments with the European partners from Marcogaz and Ready4H2 with the view to prepare technical standards for the transition to new types of energy as a part of the Green Deal.

“Together with international partners, we have been developing our own brands for the production of advanced European-style equipment. We brought to this exhibition the equipment that allows transporting both the natural gas and gas and hydrogen mixtures containing 20% of hydrogen at the same time,” explained Oleksii Tyutyunnyk, Chief Operating Officer, RGC.

RGC biomethane project is another line of effort. The prelaunch of biomethane produced by agricultural enterprises into Ukraine’s gas distribution system is nearing its completion. It is also part of the European energy transition and will allow Ukraine to strengthen its own energy security by reducing natural gas imports.

At Enlit Europe 2021, RGC also presents electronics for the gas sector of its own production, i.e. gas detectors and smart modems for online metering of gas consumption.
The event is also attended by the largest energy companies from Europe, the USA, Canada, Asia, and the Middle East. Participants include Schneider, Baker Hughes, BASF, Siemens, Hyundai, Panasonic, Honeywell (click the tags).

The exhibition also features the RGC international partners, i.e. Bonomi Industries, Cavagna Group, Emerson, Plum, Pietro Fiorentini Spa (click the tag).
RGC booth is located in Pavilion 8 to the right of Entrance 12L next to the Data Hub. Look up for H2Ready yellow cabinet by RGC Production.

Enlit Europe is one of the largest energy events in Europe and the new unifying brand for European Utility Week and POWERGEN Europe. The subject of the event covers the full range of transformations in the energy sector for the sake of a better future for the entire planet.
